She has helped several large global companies develop knowledge strategies and has been an especially strong advocate of communities of practice.
In the mid 1990s she was also a member of the budding community focused on intangibles and intellectual capital. She is still a keynote speaker at Intellectual Capital conferences around the globe and has achieved recognition for incorporating intangible asset management into her groundbreaking work in value networks.
Her early work focused on organizational learning and best practice benchmarking. She is highly regarded for her expertise in these areas as well.
